A short and elegant map that illustrates the journey that the the women of Samfya embarked on across Zambia in order to visit the closest market that allowed them to trade. The map was designed to reflect old style paper maps.

Directing a subtle nod towards the stylistic approach of the renowned Saul Bass, the narrative of the titles focuses on aspects of gambling culture with emphasis on creating fluent and seamless transitions between scenes.

An energetic and pacey title sequence with a mix of 2D images and 3D blood cells, DNA strands and vein strands. The emphasis was to be focused on the medical aspect of the show.

Every part of this animation was artistically hand drawn…down to the very last window on every building! Drawings were digitally scanned, cut into layers, and then animated and composted…the paper was then put out for recycling!
